Surround your children with books. There are zillions of books to choose from in the bookstore. Children love to go to the bookstore, the library, the museum, and other places where they can read and learn. Get your child a library card! That is a big event for a child...and exciting too. Accompany them to the library, show them around, discuss the rules, and have them check out at least one book. Take them to the bookstore on a Saturday and spend an hour or two browsing. I know that I tend to be total bookworm, everyone may not appreciate reading as much as I do.

Everyone Deserves an Education
I am a teacher with 5 years experience teaching in middle to high schools in public school systems from 2003 to 2009. I really love teaching, but most of all I like the feeling of satisfaction and fulfillment when I help a student. Recently, I found myself out of work and I started this blog because I feel that I must reach out to others who feel as strongly as I do about educating our children, and build a team of supporters of human right for education. When I influence one student in a positive way, then she will touch another soul, and the legacy will be established and grow. Our children are tomorrow's leaders of society. We need to nurture them in whatever way we can and build communities in the process.
Mission:
To build an empirical community of volunteers that contribute to education through the service to students, and to providing quality service in the best interest of the individuals and community. Also to promote awareness to the right of each child to receive a quality education, and to support the No Child Left Behind act.
My vision as I start this blog, is build a program by enroll college students, teachers, and professionals to volunteers hours to provide tutoring services to struggling students. The focus will be Science, Math, and Language Arts (Including Reading).
Objective:
To disseminate information for the promotion of education. The source of such information will be obtained through research for the purpose of educational excellence. Resources include web links to educational institutes, philanthropic links for scholarships, and any further information to help a student.
Goal:
Declaration Statement:
I declare this program will build awareness to the right for each child to the highest level of education by first and foremost declaring my support for the No Child Left Behind act.
